Information Technolgy Student & Aspiring Cybersecurity Analyst

I'm a Information Technology student on the path to becoming a SOC analyst, currently gaining hands-on experience through a SIWES industrial training program. My training spans networking, cloud infrastructure, and security operations, giving me practical exposure to how real environments are built, monitored, and defended.

I'm passionate about the detection and defense side of security,understanding how attackers operate and building the skills to spot and respond to threats before they cause damage. I stay sharp through hands-on practice, working through wargames like OverTheWire's Bandit, running a home lab with Splunk for log analysis, and configuring tools like Wazuh for file integrity monitoring and threat detection.

I am also comfortable with cloud infrastructure and have experience with AWS services such as VPC, IAM, and EC2.I believe good security from genuine curiosity and constant practice, i am currently working towards s SOC Anlayst role and every projects,lab and challenges are a part of my journey.
